Alright, folks…
I’m just not feeling this book right now. I don’t want to push myself into reading it and ending up hating on it.
I’ll be picking it up back as the next week goes and see if I can finish it.

Solid 4. This was on the verge of getting a 4.5(with five stars for goodreads), but that ending.
The Grisha Trilogy was never something that felt action packed to me. Yes, there were always things happened, but until this book they felt few and far between. Instead the series was populated with little moments that did more to build up the characters than the plot. Ruin and Rising was a step in a different direction and a better direction. Ruin and Rising is definitely my favorite of the series. T ...more

Initially when I finished this book, I gave it a 5... but now that I sit and think about it a day later. It is more of a 4.5 stars for me.
The CHARACTERS! yes, how i love them! Oh so much!
The story in the third book: it is good, i like the continuation of the characters and the story eventually coming to an end. The beginning is awesome and i love how things are maneuvered in the beginning/middle of the book. BUT THEN all of a sudden things start happening to the characters....... Things that fe ...more

I used to think Siege & Storm was the best of the trilogy, and while Nikolai is my favorite character, I still think plot wise Ruin & Rising exceeds the first two books, despite the ending.

This series seriously has my heart!
What an amazing conclusion to the Grisha Trilogy! I absolutely loved this series! I have grown so attached to all of the characters in this book! This series has an amazing element of fantasy, action, suspense, love, heartbreak, tragedy and triumph. This series hit me right in the feels! I found myself rooting for the characters the more I read and spent many late nights up reading! Leigh Bardugo is brilliant and I love her writing style. She truly takes you r ...more

Sigh....it's over.
I'm sitting here trying to think of what I actually felt about this book. I have to say it ended different than I had anticipated. And I liked it...I think...
I loved the Darkling from day one. I know he had flaws but I could see the yearning for companionship and love even if he denied it, and I could relate to that. Nikolai was amazing from the get go. The typical suave, smooth gentlemen that can offer a girl the world and everyone wants the girl to end up with. And Mal...the ...more
