Well, that's it. That's the book. The above quote sums up about the entire book. I love this book. In truth, I love the entire series which is why I've rated every single book with 5 stars and I don't regret a single thing. It is one of my all-time-favorite series along with Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. Can you blame me? This is just awesome. I love the prose

In truth, I love the entire series which is why I've rated every single book with 5 stars and I don't regret a single thing. It is one of my all-time-favorite series along with Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. Can you blame me? This is just awesome. I love the prose, Veronica sure knows how to write a book and despite her youth she's incredbily contemplating and her books aren't superficial, they get deeper and deeper into the character of Tris by each book.

Like Katniss, many call Tris a bitch and harsh and stuff like that but she's not a bitch and neither is she harsh, she hardens herself in order to go through the Dauntless initiation. Oh, and by the way, let me get into this: Here's the thing, the society has been divided into 5 factions: Abnegation which are like selfless and noble (Tris' initial faction), Amity which are calm and peaceful, stoned calm I mean. Then, there's Erudite who are smart-alecks and mostly they get on my nerves. Candor, who are the honest, they just can't help saying whatever they feel like saying. Lastly, there is Dauntless who are the brave and the reckless, jumping off of buildings reckless, and that kind of thing.

Well, if by now you're not interested by what I have described for you then don't bother reading this because you won't be moved, neither will you love the characters. I forgot to mention, though, the Divergent, which I won't tell you what they are because I'm a bastard like that. Read and find out for yourselves.

I love this book because it breaches a very sensitive matter about who we are and what we want to be. It's about everyone being clear enough with themselves. We all have to make choices, but they don't define us, they simply give us a clue to who we are, and piece by piece, step by step, mistake by mistake, we learn ourselves. It's about letting someone in. Tris hardened herself but she was lucky one to have someone willing enough to break through to her and make her trust him.

“I might be in love with you." He smiles a little. "I'm waiting until I'm sure to tell you, though.”

By the way, the romance is the cuter thing ever. So read this, please.

Absolutely loved this book, I find Tris to be a very sympathetic protagonist, she has flaws and that makes her much more relatable and not a Mary Sue character which I was worried about as I started the book. I found the interaction between Tris and her friends both wonderful and exhausting. You could never really tell where they stood and it kept me hooked.

Wow, I finally got around to reading this book and am I ever glad I did! Now I understand what all the hype is about!

This book is crazy, it is intense, moving, hilarious and maddening all at the same time. The best that Dystopia has to offer.

I can't wait to continue on with the series! Watch the movies, just everything to do with it! This book has made a fangirl out of me! ...more
