What Members Thought

This is the second book in the DCI Erika Foster Series. This series is for all fans of Karin Slaughter and Angela Marsons. I loved the book The Girl In The Ice and loved this even better. My GR friend Kris and I read this book as a buddy read and we are starting the third book tonight Dark Water, with our GR friend Stephanie.
I just love the character DCI Erika Foster. I find her very impulsive, gutsy and reacts quickly. She is a kick ass female. Even though Kris and I were able to predict the k ...more

The Night Stalker
4 Stars
An excellent follow-up to Bryndza's incredible debut, The Girl in the Ice.
In this installment, D.I. Foster pursues a serial killer who, at first glance, appears to be targeting random victims. However, as the bodies pile up and the clues emerge, it soon becomes clear that the motivation is all to personal.
While the identity of the killer and the reasons behind the murders are revealed quite early on, the police procedural elements make for captivating reading. Although ...more

(Review Not on Blog)
Foster is back with her team - Love Moss! - to catch another killer. As per usual, Foster is willing to do anything to find the killer even putting herself and her career on the line. We get more of the characters coming out in this second novel. I enjoyed The Night Stalker as much as the first one. If you like Karin Slaughter, Michael Connelly and/or Peter Robinson, I think you will love this series.

This is the second book in the DCI Erika Foster Series and it was just as good if not better than the first. Erika Foster is a woman who trusts in her instincts even when it gets her in trouble. She is impulsive, speaks her mind and is a strong, gutsy character. She engenders loyalty in her co-workers as they see how dedicated she is. Once again, she puts herself, her life and her career on the line to find a serial killer, who becomes known in the press as "The Night Stalker".
