Fast paced and riveting, this installment of the Lucy Kincaid Series is fantastic. Light on the Romance and heavy of the suspense the plot takes Lucy and Sean through some really harrowing experiences and shows them the strength each of them has as an individual and the power they have as a unit.

Lucy and Sean are on a working vacation. They want some alone time and agreed to help a friend find out who is vandalizing their property. There little project turned into more when they discovered a dead body in a nearby mine.

I enjoyed the development of the main characters although Lucy was a little annoying for a short time. The criminal element in this story are truly evil people. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
