THIS FREAKING COVER IS BEYOND AMAZING!

I don't think there are words to describe what I am feeling right now. Throughout this book I laughed, I cried, my heart broke, and fear laced my mind. Anger, hurt, betrayal, love, loss, pain, laughter, joy, and every single emotion you can name exploded throughout the entirety of this installment in the Throne of Glass series.

I have high hopes for what Sarah J Maas will do with this series. I am hoping for a lot of things to happen, so many thing ...more

Kitabın ciltli baskısı o kadar büyük ki, okuyana kadar canım çıktı. Uzansam karnıma batıyor, havaya kaldırıp okusam kollarım ağrıyor, oturup kucağıma koysam eğilmekten sırtıma bir ağrı giriyor... şekilden şekle girdim okumaya çalışırken kısacası. Ama bir şekilde bitti ve cidden kısa bir sürede gerçekleşti bu: kitabı okumaya daha dün başladığıma inanamıyorum. Aradan haftalar, haftalar değilse bile günler geçmiş gibi hissediyorum.

Again I absolutely LOVED this book. Best book in the series so far.

LOVED IT!!!!

So once again I found this book to be my favorite. It's actually a toss up between Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows. I loved them both equally.

Hay tantas cosas en éste mundo que es difícil no dar spoilers. Es un mundo apasionante, la narración es espectacular. Los personajes, si bien son los mismos, han tenido un gran crecimiento desde el comienzo de la saga e incluso en el transcurso del mismo libro.

Aelin y Rowan son la cabeza de éste mundo pero incluso ellos están aceptando sus sentimientos y acostumbrándose a su magia entrelazada; Aedion tiene finalmente su rol de general de la Reina, su prima a quien tanto busco. Chaol y Dorian... no vamos a decir que es lo que les pasa pero es gran parte de la historia y supongo que es gran parte de lo que vendrá. Para mi gran sorpresa me encantó Manon!! Es una rebelde y una salvaje; ya quiero saber que es lo que va a ser ahora que tiene toda la información que le ocultaban.

En el fondo es una historia romántica llena de guerra, magia y caos pero los momentos románticos y las parejas que se van formando le van dando forma a la historia.

En el libro anterior tenía mis dudas respecto a Rowan... fue muy duro con Aelin y cerrado en muchos aspectos para ser un ser inmortal; pero en éste libro lo adoré!! Esperaba con ansias su llegada...

“You make me want to live, Rowan. Not survive; not exist. Live.”

“He shifted his arm so he could brush her hair back. His fingers lingered along her jaw. “You make me want to live, too, Aelin Galathynius,” he said. “Not exist—but live.” He cupped her cheek, and took a steadying breath—as if he’d thought about every word these past three days, over and over again. “I spent centuries wandering the world, from empires to kingdoms to wastelands, never settling, never stopping—not for one moment. I was always looking toward the horizon, always wondering what waited across the next ocean, over the next mountain. But I think … I think that whole time, all those centuries, I was just looking for you.”

Wow! So many things happened in this book. And most of them good. This was a long book but hard to put down once you get into it. I have to say that Manon is my favorite character because I never know what she’s going to do. I do like the darker characters. I’m looking forward to the next one.

This series keeps getting better and better. The story has been building to this point and you just know there so mush more to come in the next book. I think in this one Celaena really excepted her being Aelin and Queen. The different story woven through the books are being lined up and linking more. The story kept building and the characters kept growing and leaning more about them. I can't wait for the next book.
