Impenetrable and lush like a rain forest, and equally chaotic despite its small size
I thought this book would have been a breeze but the language is quite dense and full of 19th century like metaphor usage, which slowed me down. The story got to me a bit more after the boat was repaired all of the sudden and our protagonist finally got on the river.
