I thought this was a good book. I can see why its a great classic. Such a fun fairy tale type novel. It is a great children's book. The plot and characters were very well written.

This is my second time reading this book or I should say listening and I didn't remember how different it was from the movie that I've seen several times. As in most fairy tales the original was a little bit more macabre than the movies. with a tiny bit of horror or should I say gore in it. Example someone lost their head. Overall though I enjoyed the book and will probably finish the series.
