What Members Thought
I expected to enjoy this more than I did. None of the characters are sympathetic and some of the passages are a bit laborious. The story is so ingrained in literary culture that it's hard to experience the book on its own merits. If anything I feel like Lord Henry is the real villain and Dorian is merely weak willed and easily influenced. Glad to have reread but not a favourite.
