This is one of my favorite books of all time. I love the story behind the writing of Frankenstein as well as the actual story.
Mary Shelley creates the classic horror tale. A story of love and creation and the Victorian themes of the destruction of humanity outside the domestic circle. There is no replacement for this original tale of Frankenstein. The language is beautiful, the characters are interesting, the monster draws both sympathy and fear.

So, I have read this work before and must say I wasn't too big of a fan! I decided to re-read it, I will give it another try, with more background knowledge, a different perspective on the world, and a desire to get more out of it than before. Recently I have developed an interest in romanticism and romantic and gothic literature.
