But she nevertheless becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic with the other players in the game. I SO wanted to love this book!!! Before reading I thought it had The Greatest Showman vibes with a twist……& what’s not to love about that 🎩

I feel this book had the potential to be absolutely brilliant. But for me there was no magic! I listened to it audio and feel I completely zoned out, there were too many long descriptions and metaphors/similes which got me confused. Kind of put me in mind when Joey is writing Monica & Chandlers adoption letter in Friends 🤣🙈

All of the characters irritated me and all came across flat, Scarlett in particular & everything just seems happens to her. Which is unlucky I guess.
