LITERALLY READ THIS SOOOO FAST
This was a wonderfully refreshing break from a bunch of fantasy and the like. It was incredibly nice to be rooting for someone else's life.

It's beautiful!!
Pleasing, soothing, sweet. The chapters are short so per sitting I could finish a lot. The illustrations/Madeline's journal entries are so cute and funny. It adds to a personal touch.

I feel sad for Madeline and her mom. But yeah, highly annoyed at her mom. In reality I would've been extremely furious, tbh.

I loved Maddy and Olly's love and friendship.

I think readers that don't have a medical background or experience dealing with immunosuppressed patients would like this book better. I saw the "plot change" coming very early because of this. Also, I think this book would appeal more to younger readers (I'm 55). ...more
