A nice way to start off a trilogy. The concept of the Selection is very interesting but I took away one star because Im confused why Aspen wanted America to sign up for the selection so bad. But the book was still one of my favorites with its thrilling plot, well thought out characters who are not too perfect, and dont have too many flaws. Cass is definetely a writer with raw talent. Her The Selection is a great idea. Dystopian fiction is rocketing and this book deserves all the attention it get
