I had so much fun doing the #hpchapteraday challenge on Litsy (11 months straight of reading one Harry Potter chapter a day, and this illustrated copy was gorgeous! I'm only sad that not all the fully illustrated books in the series haven't come out yet, but at least I get to start Chamber of Secrets tomorrow!

Now i know why the harry potter series are very appealing to children of all ages, it has that realistic magical feeling to it when your reading the prose. The phrases and words used by the author are outrageously out of this world and yet it was simple and funny at some point. I really like the the scene where Harry stood in front of the mirror of ERISED, it was so magical and utterly emotional. Hogwarts itself and with the all the strange events surrounding it , was bewitching and captivating

What can I say? I've read this book more times than I can count, and every time I do, it feels like coming home.
