3.5 Stars! This is my first read by Ms. Bond, and I’m reading it as a group read. I was almost immediately on board after just seeing the cover and title. I’m an 80’s child, and absolutely loved going back in time.

Summary:
Tina is ready to embark on the beginning of a new life. As a freshman at USC, she’s bright-eyed and ready for the freedom she’s longed for, for years. She has a plan. Work hard and be successful. Change the world. Unfortunately for Tina, plans can be disrupted. When her roommat 3.5 Stars! This is my first read by Ms. Bond, and I’m reading it as a group read. I was almost immediately on board after just seeing the cover and title. I’m an 80’s child, and absolutely loved going back in time.

Summary:
Tina is ready to embark on the beginning of a new life. As a freshman at USC, she’s bright-eyed and ready for the freedom she’s longed for, for years. She has a plan. Work hard and be successful. Change the world. Unfortunately for Tina, plans can be disrupted. When her roommate insists she attends a concert on campus, Tina sees nothing but a fun opportunity, but it will turn out to be a night that shakes up her whole world. Her big college plan never included arrests, handcuffs, interrogations, sexy brothers or earthquakes. But it all happens. Can Tina recover from the shakes and tremors of the night before or did impulsiveness and bad decisions ruin her life?

What a crazy ride! Lol. I really enjoyed this little novella, and I love the idea of having 10 different authors contributing to the 10 book series. Each book is set in a year from the 80’s with famous songs as titles. You Shook Me All Night Long was a good title for book one, as the MC’s, along with an earthquake, shook each other up. ;-) Tina really disappointed me at first for being a bit of a doormat. I wanted the girl to reflect her inner dialogue which was sassy and witty. She did turn it around for me pretty quickly, too. Luke was lush. He was sweet, sexy, and protective. I spent about 2 seconds confused as to how they were supposed to meet before all the pieces clicked into place for me. It was light and short, but sweet read. I’d really be interested in a full novel. Then we could dig a little deeper, get to know the characters more, and see more of the romance. My only criticism was some of the editing. Normally, I can overlook minor editing errors, but for some reason the ones in this book really irritated me, and disturbed the flow. That said, I’m curious to see what comes next in the series. ♡ ...more

Wow, wow and wow. Absolutely love this story, couldn't put it down. Although it was a short read it felt as if it was full lenght, and I like that in a short read. Held my interest from start to awesome finish. Loved how it ended brought happy tears to my eyes. ...more
