5 Incredible – Could-not-put-it-down STARS!!!!

The Black Wolf is the fifth book In the Company of Killer series. I love this series. I love every single novel in this series. I love how each book is its own beast and I love that each one focuses on a new person, yet the entire group is featured.

This is Niklas story and I was DYING for this one.

I promise you it took me awhile to be comfortable with my thoughts to write this review . Being a bookworm, and my fellow bookworms, we all know what a book high is . The Black Wolf left me with so many thoughts and suspense with this one . If you've read the other books you'd definitely understand the suspense that is in these books .

The Black Wolf is the best book of the series . With my new beau Niklas ! In all seriousness if you have not started this series In the Company of Killers, you are missing out on an amazing series . Believe me when i say that 5 stars is not enough to rate this book . Neither is 6 or 7 stars . The books in this series tie into each other so well and none of them have cliffhangers but each one delivers something new and equally suspenseful . The Black Wolf bringing us into an entirely new emotional aspect in the character's lives.

The Black Wolf brings us into Niklas' life, and obviously we learn a lot about him . From Book 4 , still hurt from learning of the betrayal of his brother having killed his woman, Claire. Niklas has neglected and separated himself from his brother's life, at least until he is needed but not at Victor's needs. When we first met Niklas, 4 books ago, he is introduced and delivered as a cold-hearted brother of Victor Faust, that was written for us to dislike . I for one, didn't dislike him . I found Niklas to be amusing I always thought he needed his own story and here it is , he finally gets one. J.A. Redmerski writes The Black Wolf from multiple POV's but focuses mostly on Niklas . She indeed delivers a great story to bring us further inside his head and what he really thinks of his brother, Izabel, and the rest of these people we've grown to love. Our horny brother that is Niklas , Jessica re-wires all our brains with his words, and thoughts, that we go from detest and dislike to strong desire. We learn so much that she throws at us? His true loyalty to his brother? Where and with whom does his heart really lie?

Jessica creates a villain that sent chills up my spine . Even if Francesca Moretti is a fictional character she is the definition of all that is considered evil . Frightening, sexy, beautiful, and powerful , Jessica wrote her to perfection . I can't imagine how hard it is to create a character with such suspense and cruelness that she created with Francesca .

Jessica is a mastermind when it comes to these books ! Each one better than the last . The Black Wolf is more than I hoped it would've been . Now I am yearning and waiting for Book 6 . There isn't much I can say that I haven't already said without providing spoilers into the plot and story . Trust me , it is hard not to . But I do not want to ruin the story for anyone !!! I couldn't possible ruin the shocker and excitement that Jessica created and wanted us all the experience . Start this series (if you haven't) and read this book ! You will not be disappointed !! ...more

Ugh so I have complaints but before that can we talk about how amazing Nickolas is??? Anyway I don't know if I like Nora. Her superior attitude pisses me off and I hate how Isabel is always looking for Victor's approval! And the ending !!! I don't get it. What the hell is victor going to do? I really hope the author doesn't fuck up this series after 6 books by introducing a love triangle ...more

Just when I think this series can't outdo its last book, it always proves me wrong. I was so excited that I finally got to know more about Niklas up close in The Black Wolf. He's such an enigma and a complex man; I knew I would love him more than before. Izabel as always seen with more growth and depth in her character and watching the relationship between her and Niklas enfold was rather intriguing. I'm super curious of what Victor is planning and what will happen in the next book. I feel like he's playing matchmaker with Izabel, and I'm like, what the f*ck. Niklas was a fantastic character in this book, I couldn't pick a favourite character in the series if I tried. Next book, ASAP! ...more
