What Members Thought
I love Preston & Child, I really do. Aloysius Pendergast is probably my favorite fictional character next to Sherlock Holmes, but this installment in the Pendergast series felt somehow...diminished. Rushed. Cold. I'm not sure why I'm left with these feelings of being underwhelmed, but I'm altogether saddened by them. I'll always love Pendergast and Preston & Child for their words, so this deadened installment will not deter me from continuing on with Pendergast's story; I'm just merely disappoin

3.75 - The City of Endless Nights, New York City, was a good read with plenty of excitement but seemed to lack the normal sophistication of plot and the Pendergast character. Pendergast and D’Agosta must solve the ‘Decapitator’ murders and it proves to be difficult. Enjoy!
Another great Pendergast/D'Agosta book. I loved the ending.

This book is an example of perfect story telling, which has come to be the norm for these two authors.
It was good but not their greatest. I still absolutely loved it but something was missing...
