This is a highly anticipated book by me and yet I left it lying on the bookstack (I am at best times always 40 books behind)simply because of the reviews I had skimmed over and any mention of Nazis without Indiana Jones being around fills my shoes with utter dread. But I guess curiosity won in this case.

The opening is rather surprising and kickstarts the novel, with a furious Pendergast hot on the heels of the kidnappers of his wife who he thought dead for quite a few years. Those German baddies ...more

Only rarely before has a book entranced me as much as Two Graves does. This novel immediately throws you so fast into the action, that you barely have time to get your footing as you are carted away on a story that will keep you gasping for breath throughout its entirety. Pendergast is on the case of his lifetime, and he will forever be a changed man because of it. You cannot go wrong with the stories of Special Agent Pendergast. This is the 3rd. part of the Helen Trilogy (the wife of Pendergast). It has a lot of surprises in it. Preston and Child write the best thrillers.

Latest installment of the Pendergast series does not disappoint! We see a more introspective side to AP. Corrie is an interesting addition, but her part does not contribute to the plot, just a diversion.

5 stars isnt enough. This is single handly my favorite Pendergast book to date. So many twists and turns. Kept me up all night at the edge of my seat.
