I am such a huge fan of Agent Pendergast and I looked forward to reading this one. I found that I wasn’t as enthralled with this story line as I was with a couple of the others in the Pendergast series. This story fell a little flat and at times, I felt like my favorite FBI agent was more of a James West kind of guy. The two sons and their background were too much of a stretch for me. Not a bad read, just not up to snuff for this reader.

Fast-paced with an abundance of plot twists that kept me engaged until the very end. A fine conclusion to the "Helen Trilogy" [preceded by "Fever Dream" and "Cold Vengeance"], adding some insight to Pendergast's past without totally demystifying the mystic aura that surrounds him. It will be interesting to see how the events and revelations uncovered in "Two Graves" will impact future Pendergast tales.
