What Members Thought
This book was an easy read, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. Most of the characters are absolutely insufferable. The only two characters I found myself sympathizing with were the son's older girlfriend who the whole family hated for some reason and the gay best friend's husband who desperately wanted a child. This was an easy read that had a lot of potential, but fell flat in terms of character development. By that, I mean that none of the main characters were interesting or likable. There was enough of a storyline to keep me interested, but I was glad I was reading something else at the same time.
