I can't recommend this book highly enough, but format is incredibly important. I recommend reading this in book format. Emily St. John Mandel intricately weaves multiple parallel plot lines, each of which contain flashbacks and present day happenings. It can take a little bit of reading to understand who the multiple characters are and how St. John Mandel is crafting this plot line, which required some flipping back for me during the first quarter or so of the book.
