After loving Hollow Pike a few months ago, I really wanted to read Say Her Name, James Dawson’s most recent fiction release before Halloween and his event that I’m attending on 30th October. I will admit that this took me a few weeks to get through, despite it being under 300 pages, but I was just so freaked out by it that I had to take a break from it halfway through and I managed to read the last half in one sitting (it was dark and I was home alone, and I wouldn’t recommend you do that!).

3.5/5.
James Dawson’s writing; it’s the perfect combination of witty humour and tense creepiness.

Really enjoyed this, very easy to read and get into! I finished the majority in a day! Didn't creep me out as much as I was hoping but it would make a great film or mini series :)

Fuck it I'm giving it five stars. I don't even care, it was hella good. I don't even want to write a proper review. I literally just finished and I'm so happy with this book. Ugh, classic horror film vibes here, I loved it so much.
