What Members Thought
This is my second attempt reading Wuthering Heights, in an attempt to improve my knowledge of the classics. And, several years down the line, I still don't like it. The writing is good (though I wouldn't say exceptional) and the inadequacies of the narrators are interesting, but it just doesn't hold me. The ending feels like something tacked on to please an editor. However, I do have issues with characters you can't empathise with/like, so this is a bad book for me, rather than it being a bad bo

Well... this started unpleasantly and was pretty much unpleasant the whole way through. Appreciable as it was for the historic context, I wouldn't give you tuppence for the entire household.
