ok, this book was a mother! I was excited to read it due to the reviews on GR. At 1st I loved Eva as a child & how she melted Duece' s heart then I kept reading & began to hate the book & ALL the characters--I mean ALL OF THEM! I hated Duece' s disrespectful ass & Eva's whore-y ass! The fact that the word "bitch" was used towards the women every five minutes was just too much for me to stomach. OMG! So not your typical love story! The entire time reading it all I think was WTF!!! At the same damn time I can't stop reading it! I honestly don't know what to think!
The author draws you into the most F@CKED up storyline, with the most unbelievably F@CKED up characters and your hooked! At times shocked, disgusted, but addicted to it.

Definitely different! Definitely not a typical love story! Definitely out of most readers comfort zone. BUT definitely one HELL of a ride!!

Shelves: adult, pissed-me-off, audiobook, annoying-women, dark, complete-psycho, tortured, depressing, wtf, abuse

So, this was definitely one of the most depressing books that I've ever read. Nothing really seemed to work out for Eva and Deuce until like the very end. Books are an escape for me so with a book like this it was just too much. Like way worse than real life which made me get little enjoyment out of it. Sighs... If I do read another, it will probably be not until next year. ...more

Ok.. I read this and I really had way high hopes there.. especially that I LOVE the biker-theme stories.. and I'm glad that the author had put a warning about what's up ahead... but still all that didn't give me enough heads up for what I actually read. I'm so sad and so disappointed :(

Not counting the typos, grammar and punctuation errors... (and really I wouldn't have minded those if this were a case of a good story with bad editing - which unfortunately, this wasn't. At least for me)..

I'd been recommended this book when it first came out and I just kept putting it off, even with all the great reviews. Mainly, because it was such a step out of my comfort zone. I'm not really into bikers, felt uncomfortable with the big age difference between the H and h, and had a very difficult time with the bikers calling their women "bitch."
