The book was good, in the beginning it was very sad how people, like his family saw him different as a person who has a lot of disabilities. But I loved the authors true message, it doesn't matter what is behind all those bruises and weird body parts, internal beauty is the one what really matters. I would reccomend this for people who ever love reading books about disorders, and those who love friends cause this book has a lot of that. This story is an essential read not only for the intended middle grade audience, but for all ages.
