Sometimes, you find a book that makes you cry. Sometimes, you find a book that makes you angry, or scare you, or terrifies you, or brakes your heart, or makes you smile. I can think in a lot of books, my favorites, that made me feel all those things. But, this time was different of all that times before. When I ended this book, with a huge smile on my face, the only thought that I had in my mind was: That was beautiful , loud and clear, I could almost actually hear it.
Because that's what this Sometimes, you find a book that makes you cry. Sometimes, you find a book that makes you angry, or scare you, or terrifies you, or brakes your heart, or makes you smile. I can think in a lot of books, my favorites, that made me feel all those things. But, this time was different of all that times before. When I ended this book, with a huge smile on my face, the only thought that I had in my mind was: That was beautiful , loud and clear, I could almost actually hear it.
Because that's what this book is. I could say that this was funny (and it is, like all Rick's books), that this was fast and full of action right since the beginning (and it is). I could say that made me nervous and anxious to read more (and it totally did), but all that would be little, short. Beautiful is a lot better word, more fitting.
Well done, Rick, you have outdone yourself with this one! There's totally nothing I would change.
I loved the awsome team that are Nico, Reyna and Hedge. They are amazing. I trully loved that this book has a lot of chapters dedicated to Nico's point of view. I already loved that guy from before, but with this book, he earned a permanent place in my heaven of totally favorite characters. The way he grows confident and accepts his feelings is amazing. The way he and Reyna develop a friendship and the way that helps them to accept themselves... Nico, Reyna and Hedge are the best part of the book.
I especially love the way that everything fits into place. Jason, Piper, Leo, Percy, Nico... all of them end in the place that feets perfectly to them. I almost cried tears of joy, happiness and rainbows with the final scene between Nico and Reyna, in front of all the camps.(view spoiler) . And the funny scene when Nico told Percy that he was in love with him, but that he wasn't his type... And Nico and Will Solace!! He deserves all the happiness that he can get.
The end deserves praises for itself. It was satisfaying and perfect, just perfect. This must be the best end of a saga that I ever read. Of course, there are some loose ends, but it won't be a Rick's book if it hasn't have any loose ends.
This is the official end of the story of Percy and his friends and, although I'm sad, it was all so perfect that I'm utterly happy too with the way all ended.
So... bring on the next series, Rick!
