What Members Thought
The first in the series...the writing was not impressive. Bella, the main character, was absurdly dull (and remained so throughout the series, I might add). I picked this book up because I'm a sucker for a good vampire read and as far as good vampire reads go, I would not qualify this as one of them. However, what it was, was a strangely addictive teen romance novel that contained some vampire characters. By any stretch, this is not horror, this is romance and should be judged as such.
