This is a funny, funny book. Wodehouse was the penultimate master of the metaphor. For example: "I was biting on a slice of apple in my fruit salad at the moment, and it sounded as if Carnera had jumped off the top of the Eiffel Tower onto a cucumber frame." Oh, I adore P.G. Wodehouse! British humor (the clean kind) at its best. These books make me laugh out loud no matter how many times I read them. The only reason I don't give any of them five stars is because they are pretty fluffy. But the language and the wordplay is so so delightful. Wodehouse was an artist when it came to framing a sentence.

Enjoyable, in the way that Wodehouse so often is. I do wish that I hadn't so recently watched the episodes of the tv show that draw on this story.
