Wonderful story and book. When Dickens is not being paid by the word he is an amazing writer. A classic Christmas story with a great message.

Every Christmas season, I watch the television version of A Christmas Carol in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. Thanks to our December book club selection, this year I enjoyed it the way Charles Dickens intended– and that is by READING the book (The Kindle edition from Amazon is free) with a cup of hot chocolate, of course. I am so glad I did, because as much I love the movie, the book is far better than any movie adaptation I’ve seen.
