2023 - I listened to a lovely Audible narration this year by Hugh Grant, highly recommended!
2021 - I listen to the audiobook every year and read the book - Anton Lesser is a wonderful narrator and brings every character to life! I’ve always loved this story, and after finally completing “Bleak House” this year, I’m determined to read more Dickens as a personal reading goal going forward.

Every Christmas season, I watch the television version of A Christmas Carol in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. Thanks to our December book club selection, this year I enjoyed it the way Charles Dickens intended– and that is by READING the book (The Kindle edition from Amazon is free) with a cup of hot chocolate, of course. I am so glad I did, because as much I love the movie, the book is far better than any movie adaptation I’ve seen.
