This really is a classic - & Rebecca is more alive then anyone else!

Holds up well upon a second reading after many many years, firmly installed on my all time favorites list.
This time I was annoyed by the second Mrs. DeWinter's constant daydreaming about scenarios she thinks are happening or wishes would happen. Thankfully that ends 2/3 in when she finally grows a backbone. The first 2/3 of the book is an excellent example of a colossal lack of marital communication. NTS: MPL/Overdrive has two eAudio editions. Hoopla doesn’t nor do any other Overdrive libraries.

After discovering what really happened to Rebecca - I guess that's why they are called spoilers -my interest in this classic read hit 'not'. Psychological suspense as a genre does not light any fires for me. Maybe I'll try this book again in 10 years, my tastes may have shifted (snorts in disbelief).
