This well loved classic Christmas story is enhanced by Sonja Danowski’s full page illustrations in muted shades of grey and brown with touches of rose pink evoking New York in the early 20th century.A nice addition is the Art Nouveau style rose illustration on the right hand side of each page of text that increases in size as the pages are turned.
