I loved the sound of this as soon as I saw the cover and the title. The overall effect was a little bit creepy and a lot intriguing! I knew I had to read it. Then the blurb confirmed that not only did I have to read it, but I had to read it STRAIGHT AWAY.

The book is not terrible but not great. We all have a strong understanding of how the world of Oz looks and feels. This is probs a good thing because the book heavily relies on this to gloss over what would be very complex and detailed world building and I don’t believe that the quality of the writing could deliver that effectively (sorry for the savagery). Lots of cliches but lots of fun!
