This book is....no wait. This SERIES is the best series I've ever read and will EVER read. If you haven't read it yet then you should be flying out the door now so you can get it. I fell in love with this series and the characters the minute I picked it up. Shadow Kiss (the 3rd book in the series) was the one that made me cry so hard that I thought I'd never stop. Aw crap, cliffhanger! The way Richelle Mead puts everything together, it's amazing. I don't really know how to explain it. Just the explanations for why things are happening and how everything just FITS so perfectly, it's the best. (: so tragic though that's it kinda depressing lol.

This is my favorite installment to the Vampire Academy series. Rose used to be this annoying, skanky-like girl, but she's the one who has grown throughout the books the most. She's more mature as each book goes by. Dimitri used to so reserved, but he opens more throughout each book. Rose and Dimitri's love in this book is so beautiful that the characters both know it's wrong to deny. Absolutely beautiful.
