Mackenzie.... I love you! There is always this hesitation with me when I start a new book with a girl as a protagonist. Is this girl going to be a whiner? I love that it starts with an emotionally damage family. I read about them all the time but they never reveled anything until the end which means squeal I feel this book is on point. I love that she gets creeped out by the ghost boys. I love how her memories of her brother are in bold instead of italicize. Mackenzie meets another keeper and he is stealing some of her jobs when he doesn’t mean to but it’s cute their little romance.
