Mackenzie.... I love you! There is always this hesitation with me when I start a new book with a girl as a protagonist. Is this girl going to be a whiner? So I was wary when I started this book and didn't know if I'd like it but as I learned more about Mackenzie and The Archive, I couldn't stop reading. I adore Wesley. Owen even had me going for a bit. The climax of this book is brilliant and it just shows how Queen Victoria's writing just propels this story forward. Can't wait to read the sequel for sure! ...more

reminds me a little bit of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere AND Interworld for some reason.
