Some people go crazy over stories like this. I enjoyed it for what it was. It's about a little girl... late elementary...early Jr. High? I have no idea. She used to have a lot of friends, but now she is chubby and people tease her. It's relatable. Not every one is skinny. But it's not my shame so it wasn't as gripping as it would be to some one else. If I read a graphic novel about a poor kid who grew up in the middle of a sex and drug induced household then I'd be like this story was amazing.

3.5 DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED FOR JANE EYRE
Very pretty book. I loved the juxtaposition of the coloured pages vs. the black and white to emphasize how she felt. It showed the pains of bullying in an insightful way, but I wish it had delt with her feelings about her weight a little better.
The book did need a bit more development as well to make it a higher rating. Very relatable for me that she escaped into reading her book. ...more
