What Members Thought
Le sigh. Sequels continue to disappoint me. I didn't like this as much as the first book. It felt haphazard and kind of messy, and it ended without any sort of resolution, therefore ensuring that I will have to read the third book in the series. Still a lovely series--beautifully illustrated and uniquely told.

I do not think this suffers from second-book/middle-book syndrome at all. Also, the last chapter was beautiful. I am so not disappointed with this middle grade series, even a little.
