I'm not 100% sure how I feel about this novel. It was well written but the flow of it was off, it felt a disjointed when moving from one generation to the next, as well as from one location to another. There really didn't seem to be much history of Africville, I was kinda hoping that there a bit more about information about this town that paved away to make way for city expansion.
But it was still a fairly decent read and would recommend. ...more
