This was a nice, fun break from all the depressing and heavy books I've been reading lately. It was definitely a YA book that I think I would have really enjoyed when I was younger (not to say that I didn't enjoy it now, but a lot of people are saying it would have been too scary for them as a younger person, but I think I would have been into it). Peculiar is fitting title. Somewhat interesting but parts seemed a little forced in the effort to integrate some of the photos. Last 100pp were the most involving. Not sure about the movie adaptation...from the trailer it looks like lots of changes were made. May at least have a peek at the next book.
Wonderful, weird book about some extraordinary people. Great story!
Fun YA book that included interesting characters, a magical plot, and suspense.
