As mentioned in many of my alleged reviews, I'm reading the complete works of PG Wodehouse. This is the first book, and I've read 35, that truly shines. The Great Sermon Handicap and The Purity of the Turf in particular are a wonderful two-pack of short story goodness.

For non-fanatics this is the place to start with Wodehouse. The two-parter short stories are easy to digest. Jeeves and Wooster are a brilliant comedic team and after reading about them you can watch an almost as brilliant TV serie ...more
