Ahhhhh! Why did it have to end?! ⚔️⛵️⚓️🌅 And I have to wait until May for the sequel! 😱😭

So obviously I really loved this book. It was one of my most anticipated for the year and I'm sooo happy it didn't disappoint!

I LOVED the ancient Roman influence, the politics, the fantastical world, the camaraderie and hilarious quips. I love, love, love Teriana, Marcus, Servius, Quintus, Miki & Yedda. I couldn't get enough of any of them! I wasn't at all ready for this to end and having to say goodbye to t

Utterly addictive and so, so enjoyable!

Legions, pirates, sea gods, war and in the middle of it all a brooding legatus and a fiery sailor. That's how YA fantasy is done people!

Bumped it up to 4 stars from 3 :)

Super excited to get through these first tw

Oh, I loved reading this book, I was apprehensive since I knew it pushed my buttons and characters made bad choices, but it was so good, and I need to continue!

Fantastic book, I put it off because it pushed buttons, but I worked through it, and such great characters in horrible situations, and I can't wait to learn more about this world with the sequel!

Danielle Jensen has done it again. I am a huge fan of hers so this review might be slightly biased but I loved this book! Her writing is so descriptive and engaging, I bet she could write about dirt and I would be thrilled! I really loved the uniqueness of this book and the whole East must not meet West. I am a huge fan of ancient Rome so the fact that Danielle brings in so many Roman aspects with her descriptions of Celendor and its people just made me love this book all the more!!
