Wow. I have SO MANY mixed feelings about this book.
On the one hand, I'm more aware of my HSP tendencies than I was beforehand, and realising that a few of my otherwise inexplicable tendencies might relate back to high sensitivity in a couple of specific sensory modalities.
On the other, the author has a REAL bee in her bonnet about introversion. She repeatedly refers to introversion in the same breath as neuroticism, describing it as something that "genuine HSPs retreat into" to protect themselve ...more
