The first book was incredible. The plot and characters really captured my attention and drew me into the story. I can't wait too start the next book.

This was a reread, and when I had first read it I was pretty young maybe 12 or 13 and thought this was a great book. Now though that I have read books much better than this I can say this book was not great. I like Dorian, Chaol, and Celeana but they aren't the most unique characters. The trope itself was definitely a very overused one, kind of like Red Queen. However it wasn't a bad read, it was an easy one that kept me engaged for 90% of it. Simply fantastic! I loved every minute, although I was confused on some parts. Can't wait to pick up the book in the series.
