I don't know if this book alone deserves 5 stars -- what I'm rating is the first two titles in the trilogy, mostly because Collins has achieved such great things in so few pages. I have trouble sticking with series, usually because most of the books packed in the middle feel like filler to get us through the series, but this one doesn't feel like that at all. Just like the first book in this series, I loved the second. Am going to keep with it and not read anything new until I finish the third. Action, adventure, political strife, and young love. Lots of ingredients to keep the pace going with never a boring moment.
I am not going to write a review...but it was mesmerizing...
I felt the first couple chapters did too much recapping of Book 1, but after that it was great. Can't wait to read Mockingjay.
