I want more! Fortunately it's coming.
This book is a novel based on real people, based on one of the first female sheriffs in the U.S. In a way this is a mystery but the reader knows "who done it" from the beginning. The mystery is more in how is the culprit going to be caught. At times, the reader wonders IF the perpetrator will be caught.

Highly entertaining! I admit that the title and the cover initially grabbed my attention and led me to check out reviews of this book. The reviews convinced me that I had to read it. And I'm so glad I did. I’ve just finished, having read it far too quickly (It's a page-turner!) and find I just hate to put the book aside or leave the world of the story. Browsing through it this morning, I feel that I could easily read the book again — something I almost never do and certainly not without years be

This one got off to a slow start for me although I did wind up enjoying it. Now a week out from finishing, I can hardly remember a thing about it....so I'm giving it 3 stars. The audio was nicely done but obviously the book didn't make a lasting impression on me.

This is really a 3 1/2 star read. It took me a month because I was reading other books in between, but I read the second half yesterday pretty much straight through. The Kopp sisters are entertaining to read about and their quest for justice showed how strong women can be when threatened. This book came highly recommended and I am so glad I picked up a copy.

Seriously, don’t you want to read this book just looking at the cover? It’s fabulous!
When a wildly driven car crashes into her family’s buggy Constance Kopp starts her sisters down a path that alters their lives completely. The Kopp sisters have lived independently on their farm since their mother’s death. They’re stretched fairly thin, but wouldn’t have it any other way. Everyone they meet is sure they must need a male protector to rescue them – but they ...more

Fun Historical Fiction
I quite enjoyed the book. It was amusing and uplifting. A very easy read and I just was delighted by the Kopp sisters. The fact that most of this story is based on events that actual happened made it all the more fun. Between 3 and 4 stars.

I am surprised at how much I liked this book. A story based on real life events about 3 sisters that took on crime. As always I like a book with a strong woman at the heart of it. Constance Kopp was a brave woman and I enjoyed her story so much. I'm really looking forward to reading the second book in this series.
