I read this book with my book club at The Bookery in Ephrata, Washington. I was disappointed in the ordinariness of peoples' lives, but then I guess that's life, isn't it? Ordinary!

I loved this book! Short and sweet. But I enjoyed the author's writing style. The dialogue between characters was authentic. The story line was engaging and fun. As other reviewers have written, I was an A. J. admirer by the end of the book, but I also ended up admiring Maya, Amelia, Lambiase and even Ismay (somewhat!). I read this immediately after finishing Constellation of Vital a Phenomena and needed something lighter. This fit the bill. I only wish it was longer. I'm going to look for more

An easy read that still had some substance to it. Mostly predictable but not completely, it had characters that kept me interested...and the theme of intertwining life and literature was well choreographed. I also appreciated that there was humor, and the author did not go for the easy weepy ending. Charming book.
Was quirky and cute but a bit fluffy.
More accurately, 3.5 stars.
A quick read, full of quirky, lovable characters.
I really, really liked this book. I thought it was a great story, if maybe somewhat predictable. It was just a warm fuzzy book and I loved all the book references. A great read for someone who loves books.
