Brian Selznick is an amazing artist. I could literally stare at his amazingly detailed and expressive black & white drawings for minutes at a time. Hugo Cabret amazed me in both story and form, and Selznick is at it again in this book.

I was impressed with the concept. I didn't care for the writing.
