After the first book and the its ending, I just had to have the second book!! I had to know what happened next and I was glad I bought it! You get to see Kelsey's relationship grow with Ren and see what a "normal" life with Ren would be like, then it just sucks you in rather unexpectedly! It made me cry, laugh, hope and gasp! Once again, I just could not put it down! I even bought it to school with me to read during my break! If I could have read it while driving...trust me, I would have! I love ...more

First off, I just have to say that I loved this book. It is the first book in a long time to make me cry.

This book has the perfect blend of adventure and romance. The fight scenes are fun and exciting and the romantic parts are very swoon worthy. All of the characters are loveable and have grown more mature, especially Kelsey. When I read the synopsis for the book, I thought that there wouldn't be much of Ren in it. Just as riveting as the first book! Again there were some distracting editing issues--more misspelled/added/deleted words, etc., but this didn't keep me from tearing through the book--I could not put this book down!! More fascinating cultural/mythology details, fabulous romance, great action/adventure, imaginative story, wonderful characters, fun humor, and gut-wrenching dramatic twists and turns. I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. The story continues in part two of Tiger's Quest. More action, adventure and romance are readily present throughout the book. The characters are more fully explored and are relatable in most scenes. It was great to experience the relationship that formed between Kishan and Kelsey.
