In my opinion, this novel was by far the best of the series. For once, adventure outweighed Kelsey's emotional trauma. I was very pleased that, for once, she made a freaking CHOICE. It's doubtful whether or not she will stick to it in the next book, but at least she has (sort of) stopped her "I love Ren, I love Kishan," dilemma.

I just love this series. I really like the mythology involved. Historical events are blended with mythology from different cultures and have bearing on the story. The love triangle is written so well it wrenches my heart and makes me want to scream at the stupid decisions and self sacrificing all the characters make. The author can describe emotions and draw you in to the feelings at play. The story sweeps across the world in an epic way. I cannot wait to read the next book and I don't want the
