When I heard that we would have the fifth book in the series, I just found it unnecessary. I love the series, I really enjoyed the whole world that Colleen created and learned so much about Indian culture and folklore, but at the same time I was one of the fans of the series who was pleased with the fourth book, Tiger. Finally, the time was passing the curiosity was increasing and I ended up surrendering and deciding to read and discover what would be the focus that the author decided to use and When I heard that we would have the fifth book in the series, I just found it unnecessary. I love the series, I really enjoyed the whole world that Colleen created and learned so much about Indian culture and folklore, but at the same time I was one of the fans of the series who was pleased with the fourth book, Tiger. Finally, the time was passing the curiosity was increasing and I ended up surrendering and deciding to read and discover what would be the focus that the author decided to use and enjoy to kill Kelsey and Ren.

And it was there that Colleen left me a bit disappointed, since the two hardly appear in this book, since the total focus is on Kishan, the black tiger. I've had ups and downs regarding this character while reading the series. I had a time that I liked him very much and his actions and in others it was only disappointment, so I was not sure how I would feel reading a book all dedicated to him.

But that's where Colleen's wonderful writing comes in and all its cunning in recreating various scenes and situations that although they have already been shown in the other books, somehow left me with some doubt or feeling that something was missing, and as I read it, I discovered that even knowing the facts, there is always something more to be said or shown of the same situation. Gradually I embarked again on this mystical and magical world of the tigers and giving myself to the reading, but I must say that I missed those breathtaking scenes and a lot of adrenaline.

In a way it was great to see the way Kishan ended up conquering his happy ending next to the Goddess Durga. And this is not spoiler because it is the end of the fourth book. We are going to follow up all his trajectory in search of performing several tasks to once again maintain control of the world and not let the past interfere or even change what was already right in the future.

We have the chance to understand several facts differently and also had the chance to delve deeper into Kishan's difficult personality, and to know his heart deeply and how everything happened between him and Anamika, the goddess, as well as seeing his life while he was still human.
